WHERE TO MEET

Please meet at our headquarters on-

"No. 9, Lane 70, Section 2, Chongqing N Rd, Datong District, Taipei City, 103 Taiwan". 

Look for the shop with a blue sign above, it is across the street from the park. 

We gather everyone at 01:50pm so we can leave at 2pm. 


*If you are having issues finding the location, you can look up 'Taipei Bike Works' on Google. If you are still having trouble, please send us a message as soon as possible. The tour leaves at 2:20pm the latest.

**The tour continues rain or shine. In case of extreme weather warnings - extreme heat, typhoon, earthquake and torrential rain, our guide reserves the right to cancel with a full refund.

***Once a tour is booked, we do not refund if you cancel or do not show without contact less than 24 hours before the tour starts.

ITINERARY

  • Tianma Tea House Ruins - A historical landmark that was central to events that, as they unfolded, created the future of Taiwan - from Martial Law until today.

  • Dihua Historical Street- A 19th-century riverside trading hub for herbs, medicines, dried goods, fabrics, teas, and other products. 

  • Danshui Riverside Park - A spacious and scenic bike path along an expansive river with open skyline views.

  • Dalongdong Bao'an & Confucius Temple - Bao'an is a temple built in 1825 at the confluence of Tamsui and Keelung rivers that took a full-quarter century to complete. Right across from it, in stark contrast, stands the Taipei Confucius Temple - its simplicity dominating the architecture and characteristics of this temple.

  • National Taiwan Revolutionary Martyrs' Shrine - Built in 1969, overlooking the Keelung river, placed right next to the Grand Hotel Taipei - a shrine that worships fallen soldiers during the Sino-Japanese War & the Chinese Civil War.

  • Yuanshan Taipei Expo Park - A recreational facility that includes three typical park areas - Yuanshan, Taipei Fine Arts Museum, and Xinsheng - a popular area for expos, exhibitions, markets, clubbing, & other events

  • Liu Tiao Tong Shopping District - A district now with various Japanese bars and restaurants, and a rich night life with adult entertainment. This area carries lots of stories from the depths of Taiwan's history, as well as the city's. 

  • Traditional Taiwan Snack Eatery- Before getting back to the shop, we stop by Shuangcheng night market - a wet market by day, and a night market by night. A local seasonal snack will be offered here - either tofu pudding in the summer, stinky tofu, oyster mee sua and more! Vegetarian options available.

  • Zhongshan District - Voted one of the '40 Coolest Neighborhoods in the World 2023' according to the British magazine Time Out.

  • We end the tour back at the starting point at Taipei Bike Tours Office. Why don't you grab some dinner after at Ningxia Night market, it is closely located to the shop, only a 5 minute walk. Lots of dinner options available nearby, ask our guide
